With the latest update, the Mail Bar has a dark blue background and can't be read.

most of Thunderbird "bars" are set to colors that are drawn from the windows theme you are using. Try changing your windows theme to something else.

I have the same windows theme I've always had, and past versions of Thunderbird did not have the dark blue.
