Why does FF auto sign me into synch everytime I open the browser?

more options

Upon opening FF it automatically signs me into synch.

It didn't before as far as I am aware and I could chose when, I would like to choose.

If you are signed into Firefox Accounts, then it'll remain signed in. You'd have to sign out before closing Firefox.

Also, please update to Firefox 62. 60 is no longer supported.

Thankyou, maybe my problem then.

Hate updating as don't trust synch :-)

Updating has nothing to do with Sync, but everything to do with keeping your computer secure. update ASAP

Sync is made to remain "connected" whenever Firefox is being used and to work automatically each time Firefox is opened or closed, and while Firefox is being used as use data changes. Sync was never intended to be an "at will" service, although before the Synced Tabs feature was added the Sync there was a "Sync Now" button, but that wasn't for manual use of Sync per se.
