So for a long time now . think since the new code was introduced , android version have been slow and sluggish and cant see Firefox devs even care about this problem. Hopefully that's wrong and they do.  :) But its main reason i don't use Firefox as my main browser anyplace

added a link to the video i made showing the issue. i have tried changing settings. from the most privacy and block all trackers to sutch and do not. and i cant find a setting that would help with this issue. really hope this will be fixed soon.

Also sorry if its not allowed to share links to a video here. But was my only solution to get this understood and not misunderstood

Hmm no responses? No help?

Hi,

The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other Firefox users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or Firefox developers.

If you want to leave feedback for Firefox developers, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select Submit Feedback... or use this link. Your feedback gets collected by a team of people who read it and gather data about the most common issues.

So Finn, It looks like Seburo validated your comments of "Hmm no responses? No help?" Basically said, "yea, you need to go to find real help somewhere other than here".

I have this problem too. Loading is painfully slow...like set the phone down and go grab something to drink slow. I've just started using Google again. I hate to do it, but at least the product works well on Android.

I have a conspiracy theory about it and since no one else either has this problem, notices it, or is in this forum to make a difference being able to answer the question...

Personally I think Google, which controls Android of course, puts a throttle on Firefox for Android becasue they dont want you using it. The best way to keep people using Google is to prioritize Google on phones so it always performs the best on the phone, particularly Android phones which they basically own. I downloaded the super private version of Firefox Focus, and it even defaults to Google when you search, but loads faster. I suppose the purpose is to erase browsing history and thats why one would use Focus to use Google.

A shame. I'd prefer a Google free life, and thought Firefox may do just that someday, but if google is putting Firefox at a disadvantage on the Android platform, there's not much Firefox can do I suppose.

That all of course gives Firefox the benefit of the doubt. The android app may just suck, I'm just trying to give Firefox credit that they would make this better if they could.
