I am setting up Thunderbird and want to import some .eml files on my computer. Reading on-line it says to get the import/export addon for Firefox. I have downloaded it but when I try to action it, I get a message that it can not be installed because it is not verified. I am running Firefox 60.0 .. 64 bit.

I can't find the website now but the tool I read to download was importexporttools.xpi When I double click on it, it opens up Firefox and I get the message (on the Firefox screen) that it is not verified. I've just found another page with the same instructions http://www.pcvita.com/faqs/import-eml-into-thunderbird.html although this says to try adding the .xpi file in to Thunderbird, the first website said to add it in to Firefox., which is why I posted this on this Mozilla Support Forum. The instructions on the above page must be for an earlier version of Thunderbird because I can'f do what it says, the settings are different. However it doesn't make any difference because the .xpi file is not verified. Should I post this on a Thunderbird Forum and if so, what is the URL? Many thanks Win

Yes please do post it there as the may find out what your issue is with Thunderbird and that file may not be required or there is another solution, https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/

Thank you so much... I was able to Drag and Drop the .xpi file in to the add-ons and then I was able to import the start of the stored .eml files. It's going to be a slow process, but at least it is going to work. Your help is very much appreciated. Win
