Using a Mac with 11.1 OS and getting this message "The folder 'All Mail' cannot be compacted because another operation is in progress. Please try again later."

The compact folders is just continuing to grow and is not compacting. Any ideas how to solve this?

Also have a problem after a crash where the subject is no longer connected to the content of groups of emails . . . .

Do you need to see 'All Mail' in Thunderbird in the first place? If not, just unsubscribe from it.
