Does LastPass disable the Firefox master password? I am using LastPass for the first time and after installing, before I've added any sites to my 'vault', I am unable to access my Firefox master password. It appears to be disabled but 'required' to make changes. The form does not respond to the LP master p.w. either. Does anyone understand what is going on and how I can access my otherwise locked down FF settings? Thanks so much!

It is possible that only one Password Manager can be active at the time and that you can't use the Firefox Password Manager as long as LastPass is enabled. You can try to disable LP to see if that allows to access the Firefox master password and the passwords stored in the Firefox Password Manager.

I disabled Fastpass, cleared cookies and restarted and am still unable to use the Firefox master pw. The "Remove master password" toggle is inactive. Some toggles are inactive until you enter a value, but in this case the password does not activate the "Remove" toggle. This is a problem. I am entering it in correctly - have done it several times over today. Thanks for your help!

If you have key3.db and key4.db in the Firefox profile folder then try to remove key4.db in case something went wrong from migrating from key3.db used previously to key4.db used in current Firefox releases.

You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.
