Tried to delete contents of Old Inbox, now Thunderbird is stuck there and nothing will activate when clicked on.

From reading a similar archived message, seems Old Inbox or Trash file is corrupted? Would like to open Profile folder, but Menu button at top right corner will not respond either. Help appreciated, thanks so much!

Chosen solution

We used ctrl-alt- del --> Task Manager to shut down Thunderbird. Then deleted Old Inbox files in App Data\Roaming\Thunderbird folder. Then re-started Thunderbird and all was good again.

We used ctrl-alt- del --> Task Manager to shut down Thunderbird. Then deleted Old Inbox files in App Data\Roaming\Thunderbird folder. Then re-started Thunderbird and all was good again.
