Previously synced bookmarks vanished on OS reinstall & re-sync (sign in)
OK i was using Firefox and set up bookmarks the way I like. Whenever I reinstall my OS completely I just signed into my firefox account again and the bookmarks from before reappeared. Literally been doing this for years / many OS installs. This time I did that and no bookmarks appear at all, completely blank as if its a fresh install. I logged into my account fine and 'confirmed' the signin.
So all my bookmarks are lost now? Whats the point of a sync service if it doesn't sync ? lmao.
Added a sync erorr file in case it helps.

Sorry, the Sync service was never intended to be used in that manner; that is, as backup medium for use when re-installing the OS.
Yes, it may have worked "for years", but when it doesn't work you are SOL. I have done that myself once or twice and didn't have a problem with lost data. One "mistake" as many user's have made by changing their Firefox Account password and all their data is gone. The Password is used to algorithmically create dual-keys, one of which is used to encrypt the Sync data; a different Password will create different "keys" making the already saved data worthless, thus it is cleared when the user changes the Password.
As far as the Sync error-log goes, copy & paste that error-log to here and make sure you select a month for retention.
