Extensions gone with Firefox 59
I will never again update Firefox, the last time I did it (to 59.0) all my settings disappeared and all my extensions as well! I am absolutely not amused! Sadly yours

Well since on a Mac I can see your problems are magnifies.
If you do this :
- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/back-and-restore-information-firefox-profiles
- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/export-firefox-bookmarks-to-backup-or-transfer
then you will always have your settings. Provided Firefox does not find your Profile corrupted and moves it to the Desktop in a Folder called OldFirefoxProfile.
As to never update : that means that when there is security fixes and or mac fixes you will never get them. It also means that you will get no support from here as you would be refusing the instructions that are being given.
