How do I choose Thunderbird as the bowser to open links

My email links used to open in Thunderbird until someone downloaded Opera onto my PC. I got rid of Opera but now my links don't open anywhere!

I am sure it must be relativley straightfowrard to pair the two Mozilla progs but I can't find it anywhere.

Thunderbird is email client software. It does not open links. Internet browsers open links.

Thanks Airmail, I mistaken wrote thunderbird instead of firefox.

I have since found a way to make firefox my default browser in the pc settings and that seems to have soved the issue/
