On Windows laptop. Firefox has dissappeared twice in 2 days. Will redownload why happening

Just disappears. Once opened computer and Firefox no longer available. Downloaded again today while using Facebook it was no longer available. Been using for about 20 years with no problems

Sounds like your A/V or Firewall is causing this problem. FF doesn't disappear unless it was uninstalled or forced uninstall.
