pages refreshing when Firefox opens, despite accessibility.blockautorefresh = true
I have a set of pages I regularly visit on which I like to know what has changed since I last visited the site. The set of tabs are always in the last browser window I close and open exactly as I left them when I run Firefox again. I acheived this by using..
about:config > accessibility.blockautorefresh = true
which achieves exactly what I need, thank you; pages (tabs) do not refresh (reload?) until I hit F5.
However, if I open a second Firefox window and select a page I have visited previously (e.g. my homepage BBC Radio 4 Extra), it now refreshes to a 'live' state even though I (as above) don't want it to. It did not always do this.
I do not (think I) remove web page content when I close Firefox; I certainly don't do it manually and indeed, if I did, my favourites set would load their current 'live' content.
Can you help please?
Kind regards,
thehod
