When I try to install Firefox on new iMac with OS 10.13.2 get message that Firefox is broken and must be moved to trash.

Did you get the full installer from; Download Firefox For All languages And Systems {web link}

I followed all of the instructions at the designated link. I got the download and the dmg file and executed the dmg. The Firefox icon appears in my applications folder but when I drag it to the dock, I get a message that firebomb is damaged or incomplete and must be moved to the trash. It will not open or execute. I have retried this numerous times with the same results.

I don't know Mac's and called for more help.
