Hi Everyone! My e-mail service provider is EarthLink.net they use Windows Live Mail. The problem was that Microsoft stopped supporting my version. I could not send or reply to any messages that came into my computer. I could only respond through web mail. Geek Squad set up Thunderbird on my PC to take care of this problem ( I still use Windows Live Mail to receive e-mails). The problem is that Thunderbird do not keep any e-mails. Sometimes before the end of the day the inbox is empty and most times e-mails will disappear right before your eyes. I contacted Geek Squad thought they fixed the problem but they did not. This problem is still there. Can anyone help me? Thanking everyone in advance. saarvay

I used to use Windows Live Mail, but was very irritated that it would not send inline pics. I switched to TB. I don't understand why you are trying to use both clients.

Because right now I use two systems because TB has this problem and I don't want to loose everything every couple of hours. WLM is the only one that works right now. Except for replying and sending e-mails.

If you're downloading messages into WLM then that may be why they disappear in Thunderbird. What mix of POP and IMAP are you using?
