Will New Version of Session Manager be allowed to restore sessions under Firefox Quantum?

I understand that the new Quantum Version only allows extension that use WebEextensions. For one I don't think that Mozilla allowed enough time for Extension developers to port their extensions to the new platform. For example NoScript still has not yet been ported. But functionally many users need Session Manager's unique ability to save and load various types of sessions dynamically. But it seems that the deveolper is not even sure that the new restrictions imposed by WebExtensions and Quantum will even allow Session Manager's unique abilities to restore sessions. Tab Session Manager just won't do. If Mozilla are not going to allow this this then they need to build in this feature into Firefox.
