AOL on Firefox,limitted words when replying to email, OK in Safari

When replying to an email I can't enter more than about 150 characters. I haven't counted but it's several lines of text. I can go to AOL in Safari and don't have the same problem. If I continue the reply in Safari past the 150 or so I can copy/paste it back into AOL in Firefox and it accepts it. It leads me to think it's a Firefox/AOL thing. Roy
