Displays Inbox and its subfolders under Local Folders, but they can't be accessed.

Longtime Thunderbird user. OS win10 pro. Suddenly Inbox in Local Folders and all Inbox subfolders are inaccessible. Blue loading circle does not stop. Deleting .msf files per support articles does not help. "Repair Folder" buttons make no difference, nor does uninstalling then reinstalling the program. Any help greatly appreciated. Screenshot would not upload as pdf or jpg- sorry. Would be happy to try and upload in a different format if that would help.
