Inbox-Unified Folders > Properties > Select Folders to Search > Choose Is not working. It is stuck at 2 out of 4 folders available.
I have 4 accounts, Unified will only include 2 of them. selecting Folders and Choose has no effect. It is stuck at 2.

open the troubleshooting on the help menu. Click the show profile button in the troubleshooting information. Close Thunderbird. open the mail folder. Delete the folder "smart mailboxes"
Restart Thunderbird.
Thanks Matt. I had already tried deleting "smart mailboxes" and the file "virtual folders.dat" to no avail. However I have since tried again and on the third attempt - it worked!! I guess the moral is "If at first you don't succeed ..." Others might find this helpful.
