Hi, I asked a few days ago for a step-by-step to set up for my downloaded Tbird but no answer yet. Meantime, after continuing to try and try, somehow I found the Mail Account Setup page and hastened to fill it out but...it's not accepting my login though I tried many different ways. I'm not trying to link it to any other emails like gmail, etc. it should be a simple way to do it, why do I have such a hard time setting this up?

Tired of trying I took a break, and when I returned it now shows only the various pages of the calendar and I can't get rid of these pages. They don't even show the 3 horizontal lines (for the settings I think?)

Please someone help me get started already so I can use the emails? Do you think I should uninstall this software altogether, then reinstall it and start on a clean slate with the automatic mail setup?

Thank you very much for any help!

Who is your email provider? To put it another way, what is the bit of your email address after or to the right of the '@'?

This will help us by telling us who you are trying to connect to and we can look up their settings and advise on any quirks with that provider.

Thank you Zenos, I just changed providers a week ago from RCN to Time Warner which is now Spectrum and the word after the @ that I used is: twc.com.

I seem to have done my first email address correctly but confusion happened when I tried to do another email address. It wants me to choose from their email address names, or, under the name I want, it doesn't accept a new password.

So I used the same password as to my first address and didn't accept it ether.....  :( Is there a light at the end of the tunnel here???  :-)

P.S. What happened to "Underline"?

Oh Matt I just discovered that, I don't know how, I asked my question twice, so there are 2 threads, this one here, and also here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1166029?utm_campaign=questions-reply&utm_medium=email&utm_source=notification

I'm so sorry. How can I combine the two? thanks for helping with this error too.
