An alarm notice in Thundebird 52.1.0 (32bit)
When I send out a messege, "ReferenceError: nsPreferences is not defined" is displayed. Although I can erase it and send out the message by just giving a click, I do not want to see this alarm. What do I have to do?
Chosen solution
An add-on is probably causing this. This was noted in a bug #1353952 recently. In that case, it was the add-on "withAttach" that caused the problem.
If you have that add-on, disable it and test. If that add-on is the problem, then contact the author of that add-on to see if they will fix it.
If that particular add-on is not your problem, then restart Thunderbird with add-ons disabled (Thunderbird Safe Mode). On the Help menu, click on "Restart with Add-ons Disabled".
If Thunderbird works like normal, re-enable add-ons one at a time until you locate the offender.

Thank you very much. The problem is solved by just making "withAttach" add-on disabled. I would like, however, looking for the early improvement of the very useful add-on.
The creator/author of the add-on needs to make the add-on work properly with Thunderbird. It is not up to Mozilla or the Thunderbird team, but to the author.
