after an auto update today, cannot download POP emails that are on fetch header only

Thunderbird installed an update today. Now cannot download POP3 accounts that are marked as fetch header only. Will not download even when Fetch Header is unticked

I have posted a question about the same error. As a temporary patch you can use 'Get Selected Messages' from context menu or use File -> Offline -> Get Selected Messages.

At least it worked in my configuration.

It's a bug introduced in TB 52.1, so use TB 52.0.1 for now: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1361020
