Latest Firefox on MAC has sound interrupts from music sites

Recently installed latest Firefox (50.1.0.dmg) running on MAC OS Sierra 10.12.2. I have sound from the Jango.com website, but I get clicks/interruptions every few seconds. This is a high-performance MAC (I-7, 32 GB), and I have not installed anything exotic or configured Firefox in an unusual way. I have no problem playing music from the same website using Safari. I have a high-speed broadband internet connection. (I am submitting this report on my XP SP3 PC (different machine)). Thanks for your response.
