I have set up sync on both computers, both are confirmed and the cloud service is up , yet nothing will sync.

both versions of firefox are 49.0.2. I have received confirmation emails and all seemed to be working, but nothing seems to be syncing. I am sure it is operator error as I am not very adept at this. I have a bookmark sidebar, but again nothing shows up on the new computer, I am trying to go from Vista to Windows 7.
