can't get remote folders

I am using Thunderbird at my office; I set it up on my home system - I can get any incoming email, and send emails but cannot see all of my folders on the remote system - can you advise??

Using comcast at home, and a private server at work - I have all the settings

You need to be using IMAP on both systems. I guess you are using POP.
