I am new to ubuntu and installed 16.4 from download disc and firefox will not connect to internet but i think that the whole of my wireless connection needs setting up correctly as it doesnt connect correctly on start up.

Can anybody give me the correct info for wireless and firefox connections please?

I use Ubuntu myself and have recently updated to the new version. You should find that Firefox will connect automatically when you have entered your wireless ID and password into Ubuntu.

Assuming your wireless router is on, look for the WiFi indicator on the top right of the screen. You should be able to go into this menu select your network and enter the network password.
