I am running Windows 10 on my computer, but anytime I am on Firefox and a site automatically detects the operating system, it always shows as Windows Vista, which has NEVER been installed on my computer. The attached screen shot is from the additional information button that was underneath this box to post my question.

The More system details on right of your posts shows you have a useragent of Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0; WOW64; rv:48.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/48.0

The NT 6.0 is Vista.

Perhaps you have Firefox running in compatibility mode as if you are using Vista.

Right-click on an app and select Properties. Select the Compatibility tab, then uncheck the box next to "Run this program in compatibility mode for...

A second possibility is the useragent was changed. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-reset-default-user-agent-firefox
