I lost my Inbox. When I reboot Thunderbird, I get a message in the Inbox, but not the Inbox itself. Holding the Shift key restarts Tb in safe mode, but I still do not get the Inbox, Drafts, Deleted etc menu. I get Local folders only, which I have never used.

I tried rebooting the whole machine, but that didn't change the problem of no Inbox.

(I don't know if this is relevent, but the problem developed while trying to resolve a password problem with my ISP.)

It now appears that this was due to a problem at my ISP, which seems to be resolved. I don't understand how that disabled Tb, but that seems to be the case. Somehow, solving the password problem seems to have fixed Tb.
