Firefox refresh sucks! My Firefox is ruined! I can't get anything back!

My toolbar is BRAND NEW. My old toolbar is in a folder on my desktop. I have read all the instructions for restoring it. Funny, NONE of those instructions seem to apply to my iMac, OSX El Capitan 10.11.5. There is no "?" in my menu. There is no "troubleshooting" in my menu. I cannot add anything to my profile. I am REALLY pissed off. I had icons all the way across my toolbar. I used them every day. I am SO, SO sorry I took your advice and refreshed. I assure you, I'll never do it again.
