Thunderbird 45 not downloading mail from Charter unless you close and restart Thunderbird
As stated in heading. Have tried mobile and imap settings in Charter, no changes. If I revert back to an older Thunderbird still no downloading of mail unless restarted.

Here's someone else having the same problem with Charter, I think: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1120329 That's no help to you, of course, but it might be worth asking Charter if many customers are reporting this?

The aquamail account on my cell phone, which also downloads from Charter, IS receiving the mail as it's supposed to. Sounds like a Tbird problem to me.
