...when I click on 'reply' to answer an email. And when 'write' once again starts responding, I am unable to type anything in the message section of the window.

I read somewhere about deleting .msf files, but it seems like I am having to do that every time I want to write a message.

I have the options set to not save every however many minutes.

This is really frustrating and could really use some help to not have to cringe every time I think about answering an email.

Thank you.

Please start *Windows'* safe mode with networking enabled - win7 http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/start-computer-safe-mode#start-computer-safe-mode=windows-7 Still In Windows safe mode, start thunderbird in safe mode - https://support.mozilla.org/kb/safe-mode-thunderbird

Does problem go away?

Also, when did problem first start occurring?
