Update to Firefox 44.0 disconnects SYNC

more options

It appears that the latest update to FF44.0 disconnects/logs out the browser from SYNC. Unless you happen to notice the little Icon above the menu icon you won't know you are no longer connected. While all it takes is logging back in it would have been nice if after the update a tab would have appeared telling us that we needed to log back in.

That's not normal. Sync shouldn't need to be re-connected every time Firefox is opened.

"... the little Icon above the menu icon ..."

Not a default setting or feature in Firefox. A screenshot of that area of the browser window might be helpful.

See this support article. How do I create a screenshot of my problem? It is best to use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed a maximum file size of 1 MB.
