Both my Thunderbird and Firefox are very slow. Chrome works fine CAUSE: hardware?
Over the past week or so, both my Thunderbird (38.3.0) and Firefox (41.0.2) are very slow.
Thunderbird takes a lot of time to load messages and the send feature sometimes times out.
The page loads on Firefox are very slow.
I have had to switch to Chrome (fast) and have checked our connection (generally over 50 Mbps down). I have removed AVG and gone with MS, deleted all related programs (adaware, McFee, etc.) Done a scan with both AVG before I deleted it, MS, and malwarbytes. Nothing found.
It may be a coincidence, but I use a program called search Everything. It has been acting strange during this period. I tried to remove it, but it does not completely remove itself. Will have to do that manually.
Thanks for any help
Jim
