38.3.0 W8.1, W10 This is probably an improvement request ...

I frequently empty the trash. There are 3 things that I would like to improve. 1) I have to go to the trash view and then select from the File menu File>Empty Trash. I should be able to do this from any view. 2) The Trash is not visibly removed from my trash view - I have to move the mouse up and down the trash view and then the items visibly disappear. 3) I'd like to be able to put a button on the toolbar to delete all trash rather than having to go to the file menu.

I've been using Thunderbird a probably 3+ years and it has been very reliable, I think it is a good product. Updates work well. Thanks

Nigel
