FIrefox 41.0 crashes

more options

At random times, for no apparent reason, Firefox just crashes and closes. I believe that this started with Firefox 40.x.

This can occur with Firefox simply sitting open, after minutes of no activity. Or it might happen as you are actively using it, either reading or typing...

To further complicate it, it NEVER is able to send a crash report. Checking "about:crashes" reports that no crash reports have been submitted.

OS: Puppy Linux, 5.28 lupusuper1. 3 Gigs of RAM.

First thought that it might be a RAM error -- roughly 12 hours of Memtest revealed no hardware issue...

Update report...

Updating to 43.0.1 did not fix the crashing problem, nor the error in reporting crashes.

Try to update to Firefox 43.0.2

That update occurred shortly after my post.

That (43.0.2) didn't fix either issue (I suspect that without the error report, Mozilla gurus won't be able to identify the source of the error -- but Firefox doesn't show the errors which it didn't report...so they can't be re-sent...)
