using thunderbird v32.2.0 on a desktop mac running osX 10.6.8. When I first installed it worked fine for a couple of weeks, but has progressively gotten worse because it continually asks for my password for my imap account. I enter it, check the box for the password manager to save it, then it pops right back up again. does this eight or ten times in a row, then it might of might not take the password, quit asking for an hour or two and get all my messages and send them as well, then it will start asking again. sometimes it will just keep asking over and over and not get my messages at all. Have to close and open again, sometimes that won't fix it - about ready to throw the program in the trash and try something else. I checked under Preferences-Security-Passwords-Show Passwords- and the correct password is there, and I enter it correctly. This glitch makes the program worthless.
