I am running windows 7 professional. I have mozilla Mail 38.2.0 and it is open all the time. After several hours Mozilla stops collecting new mail and when I try refresh or open an existing email nothing happens. None of the buttons work except close. I have to close and reopen the program using the close 'X' in the top right corner. When it re opens it works fine again and shows no error messages.

Hi,

I think I've found the problem. My laptop is set to sleep after a set time. It's when it awakens that causes the problem. I have set the laptop to never sleep and I have tested it for 4 days and up to now it has worked flawlessly. Fingers crossed.

Thanks for everyone that tried to help. Regards Millsyx

Try to start *Windows* in safe mode with networking enabled.

Please update to version 38.3.0 which is out today. Will probably fix your problem.

Is it better?
