Having trouble retrieving pdfs -- TB keeps sending me to browse

Within the last couple days, all of a sudden whenever I receive an email with a pdf attachment, TB won't open it for me. Instead, it tells me to open with through the "browse" button -- but none of the options are helpful. I can open it through gmail, but not with TB. Is there anything that can be done to fix this?

What does tools/ options /attachment/incoming say abou what to use? change to your prefs.
