I use thunderbird and firefox but find it impossible to get support. My credentials are not recognised.

I have been using Thunderbird and Firefox for over 12 months and at that time registered for Mozilla Support. Several times during this period I have attempted to login to Support without success due to "details not recognised" and as advised, my email address has been sent so that a new password may be generated. Each time, Mozilla responded by telling me that an email link had been sent to me for generating a new password. Never have I received such an email from Mozilla, therefore I have never before been able to access Support. I am assuming that todays apparent success is possibly due to me navigating a different route to obtain a valuable source of information. I hope that is correct and that "good luck" played no part

Well, you're here now. I've never had any such problems myself so it's hard to know what to say about the difficulties you have had.

Thank you Zenos for your interest and response. My only problem was of gaining access to the Forum and being familiar with the procedure for some future event. What I didnt tell you was that I am veteran user with lots to re-learning to do. Best wishes
