I would like to be able to 'download', 'upload', or somehow like to be able to transfer Mozilla Firefox (or an alternate similarly-related) app, or control-function into my KindleFire Hd6 so that I can have it available as a search engine, if not the primary search engine that my device runs on. Have only been using computers for a little while, and for the most part they're annoying and bothersome...but in today's society, one must adapt to be able to participate in what society offers. So, I got myself a tablet..but took it back and exchanged it for my Fire cause it's more geared towards entertainment than computer-related stuff, and I can check simple stuff like emails and the weather report on it at a glance. However, I prefer my emails in a certain format, that thus far Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer consistently readily put-up the format that I like. I waste more battery-power having to scroll-thru one email at a time that using my hand-held device makes me do...and don't get me started on all of the nonsense that touching the 'touch-screen' pulls-up that I constantly have to waste-time on going back constantly clearing-off the 'crap' that is cluttering-up my emails. With the format that I like, which Mozilla is one of the primary search engines that I can pull-up that puts my emails in the format that I like ( I can scan the entire page in one shot, and see at a glance what's important or not, and what needs deleted or archived, etc.)...but have downloaded and scanned dozens of apps to see if I can find the format that I like ( I know that it can appear on my Fire in the format that I like, cause was trying to download Internet Explorer a couple of weeks ago; am here in Seattle--for which it rains alot, so had saw the format appear for about 5mins. before the Wifi went haywire, when it started raining heavily again!!) Thus far am sticking with the free downloads for my Fire...but am willing to pay a small minimal fee to be able to download Mozilla ( & Int. Ex.) to get myself back on track...but I've got to be able find the Kindle/amazon-acceptable app/download in the first-place. And, I imagine that a lot of you out-there have had to deal with similar circumstances yourself. I can easily find stuff on a computer...finding it for my device/Kindle is another story. I like not being attached to a computer, and prefer to be able to spend just-enough time online to check-out pertinent info for each day...then get on with my day!! Understand? So, any help locating info for putting Mozilla Firefox on my KindleFire HD6 would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Likewise: have two other email addresses available if either of them might work better: gxxxxxxx@hotmail.com; and gxxxxxxxxxxx@outlook.com; and of course, while here I'm at: gxxxxxxxa@gmail.com..

HI, "pend just-enough time online to check-out pertinent info for each day...then get on with my day!! Understand? So, any help locating info for putting Mozilla Firefox on my KindleFire HD6 would be greatly appreciated. " Yep I get it, I like having my stuff easy to find and spend the rest outside with my dog.

For this device, the KindleFire HD6, it is possible to make Firefox the Default app and to use Firefox Search:

Please post back, as the kindle might be a little different and this information can help other users.
