How can I disable the "mixed content blocker" for a single website, e.g., NYTimes?

more options

Until about 3 weeks ago, I viewed the New York Times website daily with no blocked content by the Firefox browser. With recent updates in Firefox, the NYTimes website appears in a blocked, default form each time I go to it. Then I have to manually disable the Firefox mixed content blocker to view the NYTimes website in the normal view. My only other option, right now, is to use a different browser (IE or Chrome), which I don't want to do. Asking for help to disable the Firebox blocker for individual websites. Thank you.

Cor-el: thank you for the links and explanation. This was helpful even if a complete solution is not exactly possible; at least this might make things more efficient for me to toggle back and forth.
