When newsgroup message read mark as read in more than one newsgroup

Sometimes when I post to more than one NG at a time I might read it or a reply in one and it goes marked as read but still shows as unread in the other NG is there a setting I can make to show it read in both/all? Was on Windows Live Mail before and that was linked by default. Thanks

No Thunderbird does not do that.
