I have a Gmail account that I would like to make a copy of. have over ten thousand received and sent emails and drafts was told I can do this on thunderbird. Can't figure it out. also I am not against putting it all on a flash drive please let me know if this is possible and how to do it

Create appropriate folders in Thunderbird's Local Folders account, then copy or move the messages you want to keep from the Gmail account's folders to your new folders.
