Hello.

You can do the same thing now in Firefox settings. The quit add-on just adds a quit button for Firefox, which is now unneccesary since Firefox for android has a built-in quit button since Firefox 32 for android.

  1. Tap the three bar icon at the top right of your screen in Firefox.
  2. Tap Settings
  3. Tap Privacy

Under "Clear Private Data", check "Clear on Exit". A pop-up will show and you can check whatever private data that you would like to clear when exiting Firefox.

Hope this helps!

thank you eraser. I already had this set up in my Firefox however I downloaded the quit add-on because I thought it would be more effective. well it seems to be a bit "too effective". if I can't manage the settings in any way then I will just stick with your suggestion. ty
