Crash ID: bp-7d04d1b0-5ccf-4476-bfa0-6f35d2140806

The following are some key points:

Totally cannot open the firefox.
Mac Version 10.9.4.
Restarting the computer, firefox is still dead
Sometimes double-clicking firefox, there will be a window telling me that firefox is closed unexpectedly. And I might opt to start firefox in safe mode or reset the whole firefox. However, both options are not worked.

Hi tonchad, Since you cannot open Firefox in Safe Mode or normally, would it be possible to try a clean reinstall with version 32.0.3?

Certain Firefox problems can be solved by performing a Clean reinstall. This means you remove Firefox program files and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps:

Note: You might want to print these steps or view them in another browser.

  1. Download the latest Desktop version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org and save the setup file to your computer.
  2. After the download finishes, close all Firefox windows (click Exit from the Firefox or File menu).
  3. Delete the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
    • Windows:
      • C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
      • C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox
    • Mac: Delete Firefox from the Applications folder.
    • Linux: If you installed Firefox with the distro-based package manager, you should use the same way to uninstall it - see Install Firefox on Linux. If you downloaded and installed the binary package from the Firefox download page, simply remove the folder firefox in your home directory.
  4. Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
    1. Double-click the downloaded installation file and go through the steps of the installation wizard.
    2. Once the wizard is finished, choose to directly open Firefox after clicking the Finish button.

More information about reinstalling Firefox can be found here.

WARNING:Do not use a third party uninstaller as part of this process. Doing so could permanently delete your Firefox profile data, including but not limited to, extensions, cache, cookies, bookmarks, personal settings and saved passwords. These cannot be easily recovered unless they have been backed up to an external device! See Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles.

Please report back to say if this helped you!

Thank you.

Try to check for corrupted and duplicate fonts and other font issues:

By the way, that crash report was from August 6th, and occurred well into your Firefox session (after about 25 hours, it appears), so it's probably not related to your current issue. Is that the only or latest crash report available?

In the address bar, type about:crashes. Note: If any reports do not have BP in front of the numbers, click it and select Submit.

Using your mouse, mark the most resent 7 - 10 crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box below and paste them in.

If you can't get Firefox to open, you will have to do this the hard way. Open the file browser / explorer on your computer. Enter this;

%APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Crash Reports\submitted

Copy the last 5-7 Recent File Names in the folder, including the date and time created. Post all the information in the reply box below.

Yes, I only got this report.

Finally I use my own way to fix this out. Finder>>GO>>Type Option >> going to library >> Application Support >> Firefox>> Profiles >> delete all files there

But this method would sacrifice all bookmarks and history records.

Do not delete the folder, just rename it.
