Hello,

Firefox crashes on start up for me. This is off a work laptop. I have checked for bitguard, which is not installed.

Steps I have taken to attempt to resolve: 1) Restarted PC 2) Start in safe mode 3) Reinstalled firefox.

The crash ID I have is:

Crash ID: bp-3fe3b101-314f-4d80-ac07-7f9d02140825

I have attempted to add troubleshooting information, but it does not seem to work. I cannot follow the manual steps as I cannot open firefox at all. If there are any suggestions to get the necessary information, please let me know.

This report is submitted through chrome.

Thanks!

hello vizel, thanks for reporting with your crash id - this crash is caused by the "Digital Guardian" software by Verdasys that is running on the computer. Please see if there's an update available for that program.

Thanks for the fast reply. I guess this may be something I have to live with until my company rolls out their next round of patches...

I'm not sure I can force an update over our systems, but this definitely gives me some leads to chase down.

Thanks again!
