my wifes have an unwanted firefox update and now nothing can connect

firefox auto updated both mine and my wife's firefox and stopped connection to internet i was able to get out but my wife's newer comp couldn't reset and i cant remove firefox manually She gets couldn't find XPCOM no other program can connect

So no internet connection for the whole computer?

Have you tried starting the computer in SafeMode to try and uninstall fully and then reinstall?
