When sending a webpage to somebody why can't it be opened with double click and not use Control + click. Please are having trouble opening their attachments. Can this be bypassed and just use double click to open attachments

Hi bigaitch,

This question was posted in the Firefox OS Support Forums, but it doesn't seem to be related to the Firefox OS device.

I believe that this depends on the software that they are using for receiving your link, and may also depend on what you are using to send the link. We would need more information to know if this is an issue related to the Firefox browser, or if it's simply a standard behavior of the tools that are being used.

Please reply with the following information:

  • What are the steps that you are taking to send links to other people? Please share the exact steps, including any software or webpages you are using.
  • What are the steps that the other people are taking to open the links? Please share the exact steps, including any software or webpages you are using.
  • How often do you encounter this issue?

We will be waiting to hear back from you.

Thanks,

- Ralph

This happens when I try to forward a Web page to someone using exactly the same system as me. The email program being used to receive is Outlook. Firefox is used to locate the web page and being forwarded via firefox toolbar. Hope this makes sense.
