I want to use Ctrl+C for copying in Thunderbird just as I do in the rest of the programs. How can be reassigned a key shortcut in Thunderbird 31.0?

In my copy it is Ctrl+C to copy. Zoom is Ctrl ++

So what part of Thunderbird exactly are you referring to?

Mmmm ... now it becomes interesting: you're right for zoom out in the english version, Ctrl+-, but (at least) in the romanian version, which I'm using, the Ctrl+C is used for zoom out. So, how can I assign Ctrl+C to "copy"?

PS: There is the difference also for zoom in, Ctrl++ vs. Ctrl+M, but that is less annoying.

See the att.

And the real bug in the romanian version (at least) is Ctrl+A. If you see the att you may see that it's reported twice this shortcut: for "select all" and "new message". Actually it works for the "new message", again for the unexpected function.

I would like to reassign Ctrl+A to select all without downgrading to previous version. Is it possible?
