How do I reset Thunderbird so information such as numbers of messages, etc. show on the bottom of the window?

All of the information at the bottom of the Inbox window has disappeared such as the number of messages, reply and forward.

Does Thunderbird these days have a status bar? If so, you could press Alt to see the menu bar, choose View > Toolbars and check Status Bar.

The Status Bar took care of part of the problem, but I'm still missing "Reply", "Forward" etc.

All solved now.

Went to "View" and checked "Message Pane"
