If I am online and I choice to download information the systems seems to be copying the files to the download folder. The when I got to the download folder to activate the files there is nothing in the download folder. I perfer to use Firefox but Microsoft Explorer doesn't have this problem. I use Firefox for normal online stuff but if I am going to load something down I have to switch to Explorer to get the downloaded information in the download folder. Kind of strange but that is how it has been since I first loaded your program and none of the updates fix it.

It is possible that your anti-virus software is corrupting the downloaded files or otherwise interfering with downloading files by Firefox. Try to disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software temporarily to see if that makes downloading work.

See "Disable virus scanning in Firefox preferences - Windows"
